This course covers the tactics and options for Felony/High Risk Vehicle Stops. It's designed lo get agencies on the same page with their tactical considerations and emphasizes a teamwork approach. Whether it is a felony stop, car chase conclusion. or a suicidal subject, we emphasize officers should never blindly run up to the vehicle (which is essentially a barricaded subject(s) who have a mobile option). Officers will gain confidence in their abilities and those of their co-workers. This course includes a discussion on ethics, professionalism, proper use of force, and duty to intervene. Class has up to 20 slots for students.
