Traffic Stops: Live Role Play Shooting Decisions
This event has passed.
Description
Students will learn the appropriate use of force through realistic, real-life scenarios. Utilizing the TI Training: Use of Force Training Simulator. The training simulator is a high definition video system on three screens, combined with high-tech weapon simulation. The TI Simulator will cause the student to become immersed into the scene which will increase heart rate, breathing and emotional level as you learn how to properly deal with potentially dangerous situations. Simulations can include highly charged/graphic scenarios and potentially offensive language. The training simulator is also equipped with a “shoot back cannon” allowing the Instructor to fire foam bullets at the trainee in an as close to possible environment to simulate being fired upon in the field. Training room is large enough to use a patrol vehicle inside. This course includes role play, Force-on-Force, and hands-on concepts to traffic stops.
