Law Enforcement Active Shooter Emergency Response (LASER)
Description
This course focuses on the technical principles and operational execution required for rapid law enforcement deployment during an active shooter incident. Instruction is delivered through a combination of classroom-based presentations, hands-on performance training, and scenario-driven practical exercises designed to reinforce real-world application. The intended audience includes local, state, and tribal law enforcement personnel who may be required to respond to active shooter events in any capacity. Aligned with the objectives of the Mission: Secure Oklahoma Schools Executive Order (2022-13), this course provides current, evidence-based training to enhance emergency response capabilities and strengthen the protection of one of our most vulnerable populations: students and school communities. *FEMA SID Number Required* https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid
