Description
This course will cover responding to calls about crimes against children. To include child abuse (sexual and physical), Child Neglect, Child Exploitation, and drug-endangered children. The student will develop a basic understanding of Oklahoma State statutes involving crimes against children Under Title 21 and Title 10. The student will be introduced to evidence that indicates child abuse/ neglect. The course will review best practices and utilize a Joint Response with DHS Child Welfare. The students will also learn about forensic interviews and why they should be used. Presented by the OSBI.
