Suicide Death Training

Description

Day one examines the complexities of suicide and equivocal death investigations beyond the initial appearance of the scene. Participants will learn a structured, methodical approach to suicide analysis that emphasizes objective investigation, scene assessment, victimology, evidence evaluation, and recognition of staged or suspicious circumstances. Day two examines the recognition, analysis, and investigation of staged death scenes. Participants will learn indicators of staged homicides, suicides, accidents, and equivocal deaths and investigative inconsistencies that frequently reveal scene manipulation.
