Safe and Effective Criminal Patrol
Description
This course is designed for the pro-active patrol officers to aid in developing safe and effective enforcement programs. The goal is to fill the void left by many interdiction classes by focusing on officer safety and tactics, de-escalatory communication, and learning to place value on behavior consistent with criminal activity and threats to the officer. Students will be given instruction and multiple video examples to help them recognize and defeat active countermeasures employed by criminals to avoid detection.
