This course is designed to prepare members of a tactical team or task force in the legal, tactical, and planning components involved in high-risk warrant service operations. Attendees will learn about warrant service planning, intelligence gathering techniques, target site reconnaissance, diversion strategies, breaching methods, and the key principles and tactics to reduce risk when carrying out high-risk arrest and search warrants. Additionally, students will practice legal and ethical decision-making using critical thinking frameworks to determine suitable planning and actions, all guided by the NTOA critical decision-making models.
