This class aims to strengthen officers' ability to conduct victim-centered, trauma informed interactions that prioritize safety, build trust, and reduce the risk of re-traumatization. Participants learn the applicable federal and state laws, elements of trafficking offenses, evidence collection strategies, and best practices for collaborating with prosecutors, child welfare agencies, service providers.
