Radar / Lidar Instructor Course
Description
This course will provide the instructor with knowledge of not only operator skills needed, but also a deeper understanding of how a radar works – that is – why a radar does what it does. Definitions of combining, shadowing, splitting speeds, harmonic suppression, same direction operation, faster/fastest mode and the differences between various products, so the instructor can better answer the new student’s questions. The course will be instructed by Michael Guinn with Stalker Radar/Street Dynamics and hosted by the Purcell Police Department.
