Description
The Oklahoma School Security Institute (OSSI) presents a 40-hour CLEET training course designed for any law enforcement officer or school security professional working in a school environment. Officers will gain a solid understanding of the duties of an SRO and develop skills necessary for building meaningful relationships with students and staff, while providing safety and security that is necessary for Oklahoma Schools. Key topics include: SRO Role & Ethics; Emergency Operations Planning; School Law; FERPA; Behavioral Threat Assesment (BTAM); CPTED Principles and Risk Assessments; Social Media & Digital Culture; Verbal De-Escalation; and Bullying & Traumatic Stress.
