ecoATM - Partnering with Law Enforcement
This event has passed.
Description
Cell phones are a way of life in modern society. While these devices are used daily for normal communication purposes, sometimes they are used for criminal purposes. They are stolen, used to plan crimes, research crimes, and take images of unlawful activities then discarded. Law Enforcement’s ability to recover/obtain these discarded phones can be crucial to a variety of investigations. Join our Directors of Law Enforcement Relations to learn how you can leverage them as a resource to help recover phones of interest to an investigation at no cost and without the need of a search warrant or subpoena. This free training seminar will provide case studies on how law enforcement agencies have leveraged the ecoATM system in investigations including Homicides, Fugitives, Child Porn, and Human Trafficking. It will also offer tips on how to reduce cellular phone theft in your community and increase the identification and recovery of stolen phones.
*2 Sessions offered at no cost
*25 Attendees Per Session
*First session: 9:30-11:00am
*Second session: 1:30-3:00pm
