The CLEET (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training) Basic Instructor Development (BID) class is designed to equip law enforcement officers with the fundamental skills necessary to effectively instruct and train others. The course covers instructional techniques, lesson planning, public speaking. Pre-Req: Full-time 2 years past basic academy certification date or 5 years, tull-time/reserve combined and a written endorsement from Agency head.
