Description
Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) is an intensive, 16-hour training program developed by NHTSA to help law enforcement officers recognize and arrest drug-impaired drivers. It acts as a bridge between basic alcohol sobriety testing (SFST) and advanced Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) certification by teaching officers how to spot the physical signs of seven major drug categories at the roadside.
