The Oklahoma Sheriffs’ Association is proud to team up with Fort Hays State University to sponsor an innovative course in De-Escalation Principles & Practice. This is the FIRST time this training has been brought to the State of Oklahoma. This course created by the National De-Escalation Training Center (NDTC) is approved by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community-Oriented Policing Services (COPS) and certified by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) and is the first and ONLY National Certified training program to incorporate personality modeling and threat stage recognition.
