Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age
High School Diploma or GED required; college degree in Criminal Jusstice or related field preferred
Current Oklahoma CLEET certification REQUIRED
Minimum of 5 yearls law enforcement experience, with supervisory experience preferred
Valid Oklahoma drivers license
Strong leadership, communication and orginazation skills
Ability to pass a pre-employment background investigation, drug screening and pension physical.
Key Responsibilities
The Chief of Police is responsible for planning, directing and managing all functions of the Police Department including patrol operations, criminal investigations, budgeting, personnel supervision, training and community relations. The Chief will work closeley with city leadship, staff and the public to provide prefessional law enforcement services.

Sueprvise and lead department personnel
Manage department budget
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws
Promote positive community policing efforts
Coordinate emergency response and interagency cooperation
Maintain records, reports, and department standards
Advise city administration on public safety matters.
Salary/Compensation (if available)
$50,000 - $58,000 yearly
