Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and physical examination.
Must have no felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history.
Must meet all requirements for certification as a peace officer in the State of Oklahoma (or be eligible to obtain certification).
Key Responsibilities
Monitor activity throughout the courthouse to ensure the safety and security of the public, and court personel.
Operate the courthouse entrance security checkpoint, including screening visitors and inspecting prohibited items.
Respond to courtrooms as needed to assist with security, maintain order, and provide support during court proceedings.
Enforce courthouse security policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sheriff's Office
Salary/ Compensation
$19.00 per hour
