| 21 years of age, High School Diploma or equivalent, Must submit to background check, Must be able to pass a POSSE Test, Must be able to pass the MMPI Test, Must be able to pass a Pension Exam. CLEET Certification is preferred but not required, as we will provide training as well as send you to obtain CLEET Certification, and pass a physical fitness test |
| Key Responsibilities |
| Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, providing immediate assistance and support. Conduct criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports. Patrol assigned areas on foot or vehicle to deter crime and ensure public safety. Enforce laws and regulations related to traffic control, public order, and criminal activity. Engage with community members to build positive relationships and promote safety awareness. Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activity and prevent unlawful behavior. Apply first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals during emergencies. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions. Maintain accurate records through detailed report writing on daily activities, incidents, and investigations. Operate law enforcement vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and driving regulations. Assist in special operations such as surveillance work as assigned by supervisors. |
