Minimum Requirements
· Must be between ages 21-45 (pension requirement)
· High School Diploma or GED
· Must have a Valid OK Driver’s License.
· Must be able to pass Physical Fitness Exam.
· Must possess excellent history of personal conduct and behavior.
Key Responsibilities
Police recruit is a non-exempt entry-level law enforcement officer in the Police Department, who is a probationary employee in the process of obtaining the necessary skills through training and on-the-job experience to become a Police Officer.
Salary/Compensation (if available)
· Starting salary is $46,257. per year base pay. Shift Differential $70/mo for Evening Shift, $115/mo for Hoot Shift.
· 10% pay increase per Fiscal Year 2026/2027 CBA.
· NEW: Lateral Hire option and $10,000 bonus for certified officers
· Up to $4,464 in incentives a year.
