| Minimum Requirements |
| - Candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 45, unless a current participant in the Oklahoma Police Pension system. - High School Diploma or GED equivalent. - Valid Oklahoma Driver's License at time of hire which has not been suspended or revoked in the past five (5) years and no more than three (3) or more moving violations in the past three (3) years. - Candidate must not have been convicted of domestic abuse; and must not be currently listed as a defendant on a Protective Order or defendant on Final Order of Protection. - Candidate must not have been convicted of a felony crime or have any pending criminal actions. - Candidate must not have used steroids within the last three (3) years. - Candidate must not have used any other illicit drugs within the last five (5) years. - Candidate must not have been convicted of alcohol-related driving offense within the last five (5) years. - Candidate must not have been convicted of a crime of moral turpitude. |

| -Operate a motor vehicle for routine patrol assignments and respond to the needs of the community. -Enforce state laws, federal laws, and city ordinances. -Make arrests on criminal and traffic-related offenses. -Prepare handwritten and typed reports. -Give oral testimony in courts of law. -Investigate traffic accidents. -Respond to phone calls from the department when off-duty. |
