Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 21 at time of hire
- High School Diploma or GED
- No felony convictions
- Must pass physical agility test
- Must pass written test
- No convictions for domestic abuse
- No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude
- Pass an Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory
- Pass a Background investigation
- Interview Board
- Good moral character
- Available to work any shift, nights and weekends
- Pass the Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System’s physical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce state and federal laws and city ordinances
- Make arrests on criminal and traffic-related offenses
- Perform other duties as assigned, which include, but are not limited to:
- Investigation of crime scenes
- Preservation and collection of evidence
- Preparation of handwritten and typed reports
- Oral testimony in courts of law
-Investigation of traffic accidents
Salary/ Compensation
$42,904 - $46,395 (Depending on experience)
Up to $4,000 annual in incentives
Annual ammunition allotment (9mm & .223/5.56)
Take home car program (Up to 25 miles outside city limits)
