| Candidates should meet Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement Standards. Candidates must be 21 years of age, be a US citizen, and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and a high school diploma or GED. Candidate must pass psychological testing, a drug test, and a thorough background investigation. A candidate should possess good moral character and a strong desire to serve the citizens of Perkins. Candidate shall have no Felony, Domestic Violence, Serious Misdemeanor, or Crimes involving Moral Turpitude convictions. |
| Key Responsibilities |
| Patrol and take calls for service in the City. Enforces State and Federal laws, City ordinances, and traffic laws. Investigates crime scenes; talks to or interviews witnesses or victims; searches for and preserves evidence; writes reports; testifies in court. Investigate traffic accidents. |

| Beginning salary range $40,102.40- $42,552.80, depending on experience. $2,500 sign on bonus if CLEET Certified. |
