Emergency dispatcher experience preferred but not required.

Applicants must successfully complete the following steps in the hiring process before being hired as a Jenks Emergency Dispatcher:

Key Responsibilities
• Operate 911 and non-emergency systems 
• Coordinate police, fire, and EMS response 
• Manage high-pressure situations with clarity and control 
• Perform jailer-related responsibilities as part of your role 
Salary/Compensation (if available)
Pay and Benefits
• Starting salary: $17.50 for uncertified, and $18.00 for certified 
• Tuition reimbursement: Up to $2,500 per year (subject to approval)

• 12-hour shifts (6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM) 
• Rotating schedule, with every other week offering three consecutive days off
