• Must meet all applicable Oklahoma law-enforcement certification requirements
• Current Oklahoma CLEET certification preferred/required as applicable
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license
• Successful completion of a thorough background investigation
• Demonstrated law-enforcement experience
• Prior supervisory or command experience preferred
• Ability to lead, supervise, and evaluate department personnel
• Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with city and county officials, residents, businesses, and other public-safety agencies
• Must meet all applicable employment requirements established by the City of Hominy

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Hominy Police Department
• Supervise and provide leadership to department personnel
• Develop and maintain department policies, procedures, and standards
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards
• Oversee training, personnel matters, and department performance
• Promote positive relationships between the Police Department and the community
• Work cooperatively with other law-enforcement and emergency-service agencies
• Assist with department budgeting, planning, and resource management
• Represent the Police Department professionally before city officials and the community

$52,000 to $54,000 Annually - depending on qualifications.
