Minimum Requirements

21 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or have received a GED
Valid Oklahoma Driver's license
Pass a background check, MMPI and pre-employment drug screening
Full time CLEET Certified
Highly principled ethics and high moral character
Articulate, accountable and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality when utilizing various systems and organizing detailed files.
Manage situations firmly, courteously, compassionately, and impartially
Maintain physical condition appropriate to performance assigned duties.
Willing to complete job duties outside of normal business working hours when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Perform all required law enforcement activities on a regular basis including, but not limited to:
*Enforcing applicable State, Local, Tribal, and Federal laws.
*Conduct mobile patrols of the town.
*Basic word processing, spreadsheets, email, computer and electronic skills.
*Work special events when a law enforcement presence is needed.
*Enforce parking and other Ordinances including citations for traffic violations within Town limits.
*Respond to reports of criminal activity and vehicle accidents; write reports.
*Conduct field interviews.
*Administer field training program and train new and tenured employees.
*Maintain required yearly CLEET Training hours.
*Remain proficient with all training relating to the carry and use of firearms.
*Maintain accurate activity log; write & submit comprehensive reports.
*Provide emergency assistance during natural disasters, fires, accidents, and personal injuries.
*Orally communicate Town Ordinances, State, and Federal Laws to members of the community.
*Coordinate, with dispatchers and other officers, field activity via hand-held radio, and to receive information from such sources via hand-held radio.
*Work collaboratively with other officers, staff, supervisors, guests, and Town Board members.
*Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
*Coordinate and provide support for parking and crowd management at events in town.
*Assist other law enforcement agencies with support and proper information in a timely manner regarding calls received and violation of laws.
*Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary/ Compensation

Salary $46,000 - $56,000 a year plus benefits package.
