Minimum Requirements
Applicants MUST possess the following:
• Be at least 21-45 years of age and U.S. Citizen
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
• Pass Background Check, Drug Screen, MMPI Exam and OPPRS Physical.
• No Felony Convictions
• No Domestic Violence convictions
• No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude
• Full-time CLEET Certification preferred but not mandatory
• Must be available any shift (nights, weekends, and holidays) as needed
• High ethical & moral character a must
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities
• Patrols assigned area of City, checking buildings and residences for suspicious activity to deter crime and to protect lives and property of the citizens.
• Enforces State and Federal laws and City ordinances.
• Investigate traffic accidents and crime scenes; make oral or written reports, testify in court.
• Make arrests on criminal and traffic related offenses as well perform other duties as assigned.
• Enforce State Statutes, Federal laws and City ordinances.

Salary/Compensation (if available)
• Starting pay $18.50/Hour for certified and increases after probationary period
