Minimum Requirements
21 Years of age or older with a High School Diploma and a valid driver's license.
Pass a background check, MMPI and pre-employment drug screening.
Full-time CLEET certified.
Highly principaled ethics and high moral character.
Articulate, accountable and maintain a gigh level of accuracy and fonfidentiality when utilizing various systems and organizing detailed files.
Manage situations firmly, courteously, compassionately, and impartially.
Maintain physical condition appropriate to preformance assigned duties.
Key Responsibilities
Preform all required law enforcement activities on a regular basis including, but not limited to:
*Enforcing applicable State, Local, Tribal and Federal laws.
*Conduct mobile controls of the town.
*Basic word process, spreadsheets, email, and computer skills.
*Work special events when law enforcement is needed.
*Enforce Ordinances including citations for traffic violations within City limits.
*Respond to reports of Criminal activity and vehicle accidents and write report.
* Administer field training program and train new and tenure employees.
*Maintain required CLEET training hours.
*Maintain accurate activity log; writ & submit comprehensive reports.
*Provide emergency assistance during natural disasters, fires, accidents and personal injuries.
*Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
*work with other officers, staff, supervisors, guests and City Council members.
*Assist other law enforcement agencies with support and proper information in a timely manner regarding calls received and violations of law.
*Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary/ Compensation
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year depending on experience.
