| Be willing to complete up to 14-week Field Training Program; Be 21-years old; Be legally authorized to work in the United States; Have a high school diploma or GED; Pass a written exam; Successfully pass a drug screening examination; Take the MMPI psychological examination prior to being commissioned; Meet the standards of the Canadian County Sheriff's Office weapon proficiency; Pass a thorough background check; and Meet identity requirements as required by law. |

| Starting Salary for a Step 1 Deputy Sheriff in 2025 is $57,879.00/year plus benefits.
