Chief Brandon Berryhill

Brandon Berryhill was appointed as the Chief of Police for the City of Broken Arrow, OK on October 16, 2017.
Chief Berryhill’s appointment followed 23 years of service with Broken Arrow.
Chief Berryhill is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma.
Brandon began his career as a campus police officer for the University of Central Oklahoma while earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. During his career with Broken Arrow Chief Berryhill attained his Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Northeastern State University.
His various career assignments include Background Investigator, Public Information Officer, Recruitment Officer, Internal Affairs, Policy Development, Special Operations Team Commander, Patrol Division Commander, and Deputy Chief of Police for 6 years.
He attended the 219th Session of the FBI National Academy, the Senior Management Institute for Police, and the Police Executive Development and Leadership program at the University of Tulsa.
Chief Berryhill has taught classes at Northeastern State University and Tulsa Community College.
He currently serves on the Victim Services Committee for the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Council on Law Enforcement and Training appointed by Governor Stitt to represent cities of 100,000 or more for the State of Oklahoma.
Brandon married his wife Sharus in 1993. They have one daughter, Sierra attending law school at the University of Tulsa, and one son, Tad studying Criminal Justice at Northeastern State University.
