JW Schneberger joined the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics in July 2025 following the merger of OSIDA into the Department.

In his role as Finance Specialist, JW manages procurement, budgeting, accounts payable, fiscal reporting, and assists with administrative operations at the Oklahoma Air and Space Port. He also assists with records and benefits administration, GAAP and grant reporting, and helps to ensure compliance with state requirements. He is a Certified Procurement Officer (CPO) and continues to play a key role in maintaining continuity of operations for the agency.

Prior to joining ODAA, JW worked for the Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority beginning in 2020, serving as Executive Assistant and Procurement Officer. In that role, he supported the Board of Directors, administered public communications, coordinated cross-agency reporting and compliance functions, and assisted in budgeting, payroll, vendor payments, and other fiscal processes.

Before entering state service, JW worked in the private sector as a power communications electrician in the oil & gas industry and as a junior field engineer in wireline services, gaining hands-on experience in technical operations and field support.
