The Oklahoma Tax Commission is committed to maintaining the highest standards in confidentiality and security of our customer’s information in internet correspondence and financial transactions.
The internet, by design, is an open system that does not automatically provide a secure means of sending and receiving information. For example, the confidentiality of personal information you disclose via email cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, we recommend against sending any personal information to us in an email. However, the Oklahoma Tax Commission online contact form constitutes a secure messaging system with protected information form fields. You may contact the Oklahoma Tax Commission via email but include your daytime telephone number for our staff to contact you to gather personal information regarding your account(s) in a secure manner. We will not email account related or other personal information as part of our response to you unless specifically requested by you.
To protect information used in internet financial transactions (credit card information, bank account numbers, etc.) the Oklahoma Tax Commission uses the following security techniques and procedures:

Your personal information will not be retained any longer than is necessary to provide the requested service and will not be sold or shared with any other party except as required by law.
