CITIES RECEIVE $210.6 MILLION
COUNTY RETURNS TOTAL $35.1 MILLION
The December 9, 2024 distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from October business. Companies that remit more than $2,500 monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically. The monies they reported this period represent sales from October 16th to 31st and estimated sales from November 1st to the 15th.
The disbursement of $210,63,385 in sales tax collections returned to the cities and towns reflected an increase of $14,076,669 from the $196,553,716 distributed to them in November last year. The use tax disbursement to cities and towns was $43,398,717.
In county returns, the counties shared in a $35,161,653 sales tax disbursement and a $8,007,750 use tax disbursement.
