OkTAP accepts the following types of payments: sales tax, wage withholding tax, individual income tax, alcohol wholesale tax, cigarette wholesale tax, tobacco wholesale tax, prepaid wireless tax, vendor use tax, consumer use tax, mixed beverage tax, vehicle rental tax, lodging tax, telephone surcharge tax, pass-through withholding tax, royalty withholding tax, franchise tax, rural electric tax, rural electric cooperative license, corporate income tax, partnership income tax, fiduciary income tax, gross productions history information fee, three day and blender motor fuel tax, diesel/gas motor fuel tax, special motor fuel tax, storage leakage fund motor fuel tax, CNG/LNG motor fuel tax, parimutuel/pic-six tax, waste tire tax, insurance premium awards tax, insurance premium fund, multiple injury trust fund, self-insured guaranty fund, freight car tax, sales tax permit fee, cigarette wholes permit fee, tobacco wholesale permit fee, coin-operated device decals, special fuel decals. Only Excel .xlms, .xls, .xlsx, and .csv files can be accepted through OkTAP.

OkTAP can load files up to 200 MB and can accept zipped files.

No, formulas cannot be used in the data file.

No, the file cannot have headers in the rows\cells. Line 1 must be your sales tax permits number and row 2 should be the beginning of the exemption data. If row 2\column A has anything other than a date in it, the file will be rejected.

• All cells in the date, exemption code, city code, city, states, zip code and amount columns must be filled in for each data line entered.
• The amount column cannot contain formulas or more than two decimal places.
• The date range must be for the filing period requested.
• The column maximum characters listed for date, exemption code, customer exemption permit number, city code, state and zip code cannot be exceeded.
• The data file cannot have headers in the data. Line 1 must be the vendor permit number.
• Line 2 must start with a date in column A.
• The data file must include all columns, A through J. If there are too many columns or too few columns, the file will reject.

• Delete the file from the OkTAP system by going to the “Attachments” tab and removing the correct attachment.
• Correct the errors on your data file.
• Upload the file again through OkTAP.

No, but you will receive a confirmation number when the file is uploaded. You will be contacted by email if there is a problem.

Yes, you will not be able to obtain copies from the OTC.

Your data will be saved for one month then will be deleted.

The data that you are submitting must be on the first tab of the file. You can have multiple tabs as long as the first tab always contains the data requested in the format required.
