The Paths to Licensure Guide (linked below) provides guidance on the different educational and experience paths to achieve licensure as a Professional Surveyor (P.S.) The Core Curriculum document (linked below) defines the curriculum referred to in the Paths to Licensure Guide.
The Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) Exam is administered via computer-based testing (CBT). The applicant will apply directly with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) at ncees.org to register for the exam. The Principals and Practice of Surveying (PS) exam is also administered via computer-based testing (CBT) and you will also apply directly with the NCEES to register for the PS exam. Once you have completed your education, passed both the FS and PS examinations and obtained your qualifying experience, you will apply to the Oklahoma Board to be approved to sit for the Oklahoma Law and Surveying (OLS) exam, which is your final step towards obtaining your P.S. license.
