Applications for Professional Surveyor Licensure

PS Initial License Application Process

An applicant for Initial Licensure as a Professional Surveyor is NOT required to file an application with this office until such time as they have completed all education, examination, and experience requirements.  Once an applicant has completed their qualifying degree, they may register for the Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exam directly with NCEES at ncees.org.  Once they have passed the FS exam, they may register directly with NCEES to take their Principles and Practice of Surveying (PS) exam. Once the applicant has completed their education, passed both the FS and PS examinations, and obtained their qualifying experience, they will apply to the Oklahoma Board to be approved to sit for the Oklahoma Law and Surveying (OLS) exam, which is your final step towards obtaining their P.S. license.

PLEASE NOTE: All applications must be typewritten or computer generated.
