Manufactured Home Complaints
Before completing the complaint process, please read the following:
If you have a complaint, please refer to our frequently asked questions here.
Our agency regulates Manufacturers, Installers, and Dealers of HUD manufactured homes in the State of Oklahoma. If you purchased a manufactured home out of state, you should first contact the regulatory authority in that state regarding your complaint. The Commission does not have authority over transactions outside the State of Oklahoma.
Notify the manufacturer and dealer in writing before filing a complaint (new homes only). All complaints must be filed with copies of the documentation. Until all parties involved in the complaint have been notified, we CANNOT discuss the complaint, advise you of your options, or recommend a resolution to you. This is to ensure we are fair and impartial to all parties in our investigation.
The Commission will make every effort to resolve your complaint in a timely manner. The complaint will be assigned to an investigator, who will contact you at an appropriate time.
Our agency does NOT regulate items such as nicks and scratches in the wall surfaces and cabinets, cosmetic drywall cracks, gaps or color variation in trim, the visual presence of floor covering seams, etc.
