Hope Transformation
Oklahoma Human Services was the state’s first hope-centered, trauma-informed agency, setting a bold standard for how public service can uplift individuals and communities. We believe hope is a powerful catalyst—one that fuels resilience, strengthens families, and empowers our workforce to serve with compassion and purpose.
One example of this commitment is the Workforce Community Hope Center in Oklahoma City. Here, Oklahomans can access a wide range of integrated services including job opportunities, food and energy assistance, behavioral health support, and legal aid—all under one roof designed to foster stability and growth.
Our Hope Transformation team continues to expand this vision through collaboration with Be a Neighbor, an innovative online platform connecting nonprofit organizations, faith communities, and American Indian tribes across the state. This partnership helps build local networks of support, making it easier for neighbors to help neighbors.
In FY25, we welcomed 75 new Hope Navigators, who lead and embed the Science of Hope in their organizations. These leaders came together at our inaugural Hope Navigator Summit to share strategies, inspire change, and strengthen Oklahoma’s hope-centered movement.
