PUBLIC HEARING for SH-70 in Bryan County, OK

All interested persons are hereby given notice that the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will be conducting a public hearing to comply with Section 503, Title 69, O.S. to consider removing from the State Highway System a segment of US-70 upon opening to traffic, beginning approximately 1.36 miles West of US-75 and extending easterly approximately 5.99 miles to new construction in addition to removing from the State Highway System US-69 Business beginning at the intersection of US-75/US-69 and extending northerly approximately 7.66 miles to the intersection of US-75/US-69 in addition to removing from the State Highway System US-70 Truck Route beginning at the intersection of US-70 extending easterly approximately 1.84 miles to the intersection of US-69 Business. These portions of old US-70, US-70 Truck Route, and US-69 Business, including right-of-way determined by the Department, will be transferred to the appropriate local jurisdiction for further maintenance or abandonment.
