Meeting set for March 26 in Hochatown to present proposed improvements to US-259

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is presenting the selected US-259 improvements from SH-259A to Golf Course Rd. Presented will be the final project, information from the environmental studies along with considerations to community parking and safe pedestrian access. The proposed improvements include widening US-259 to five lanes for six miles through Hochatown. The meeting will be an open house.

The purpose of this project is to increase the safety and operation along the highway while remaining sensitive to the goals of the community.
