Proposed improvements to US-75/Preston Road junction in Okmulgee County to be highlighted Jan. 28

Wednesday, January 22, 2020

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is hosting an open house on Tuesday, Jan. 28 to share ideas for improving the safety of the US-75 and Preston Road junction in Okmulgee County.

The proposal is for building an interchange on US-75 at Will Sampson Rd./Preston Road. This would include constructing a bridge over US-75 along with on-and-off ramps. The project is currently scheduled to let for construction in 2024.

The open house will highlight the proposal plans and also give the public a chance to ask questions and provide feedback on the project. This will be a come-and-go format with no formal presentation.
