US-62 improvement project in Anadarko to be discussed May 5

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting in Anadarko on Thursday, May 5 to discuss a proposed a roadway and bridge improvement project on US-62 beginning at the SH-9 junction and extending east approximately 6 miles in Caddo Co.

US-62 in this area has narrow shoulders, substandard curves and limited sight distance.The proposed improvements include reconstructing and widening the existing roadway and replacing the bridge over Hog Creek.       

ODOT will provide preliminary information about the project and discuss proposed alternatives for the improvements.

Comment forms will also be made available at the meeting and online following the meeting, which will help with further development of the project plans.
