OSBI Sexual Assault Response and Investigation Academy

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) will be facilitating an 80 Hour Sexual Assault Response and Investigation Academy. This intensive training is designed to strengthen law enforcement response to sexual assault calls and ensure a trauma informed approach to investigations. Participants will develop practical skills in Victim Centered Interviewing, DNA Evidence Collection, Multidisciplinary Collaboration, SANE procedures, Victim Advocacy, The Neurobiology of Trauma, ICAC Digital Evidence, and State and Federal case preparation, along with many more instructional blocks from expert presenters. The academy emphasizes investigative excellence and sensitivity to the unique needs of sexual assault survivors, equipping patrol officers, school resource officers (SROs), and investigators with the knowledge and tools to respond effectively, compassionately, and with accountability. Please provide your Agency Affiliation and CLEET Number for required registration. Scholarships are available for participants that need assistance with travel accommodations through the Alaunna Raffield Fund.
