Minimum Requirements
- Must Be a citizen of the United States
- 21-45 years of age at time of hire
- May be over 45 if enrolled in OPPRS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to pass MMPI Evaluation
- Be in good physical condition
- Valid Drivers License
- Pass background investigation
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Good moral character
- Suitable emotional stability
- Available to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
Patrol Recruit is an entry-level position and must complete a probationary period, and complete both written and practical knowledge and field training under the direct supervision of a field training officer.
Salary/Compensation
Starting pay $46,257.12
Master patrolman top pay with incentives $86,329.99
