Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Full Time CLEET certified
• No DUI, DWI, or weapons charges within the last 7 years.
• No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude or domestic violence.
• No felony convictions.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good moral character.
Must be CLEET certified
Must reside in city limits.
Key Responsibilities
Applicants will be required to be able to work indepently and make strong decisions at a moments notice. Officers will be working traffic and all phases of peace officer requirements to include drug interdictions as well as domestics and community policing. Must be a self motivator and be able to work shift work. Officers must be willing to work with other officers in a small town setting.
