| Deputy position: must have highschool diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 yoa and pass a criminal background check Dispatcher/Jailor: must have a highschool diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 yoa and pass a criminal backgroud check |
| Key Responsibilities |
| Deputy position: enforce state law, deal with civil matters, patrol rural Beaver county and those communities without a local police department, court house security, prisoner transports and taking inmates to court. Dispatcher/jailor: answer all 911 and admin. calls to the office, operate radio communications and oversee inmates in jail |
| Salary/Compensation (if available) |
| Deputy salary: $ 3651.96 per month, all county benefits including 80% of family health insurance premium paid by county, 80 paid vacation leave per year, OPERS retirement plan, paid holiday leave, and optional 401/547 plan. Dispatcher/Jailor: $ 3397.78 per month, and all the above county benefits. |
