| Minimum Requirements |
| US Citizen. GED/High School Graduate. No previous law enforcement experience necessary. No previous convictions for felonies, DUI/DWI, crimes of moral turpitude, domestic violence and/or the respondent of a permanent protective order. |
| Key Responsibilities |
| All the responsibilities and authority granted under Oklahoma law to a peace officer to serve the citizens, and those traveling to and through the town of Kiefer. |
| Salary/Compensation (if available) |
| All necessary equipment and uniforms are furnished by the department. Reserve Officer status is inherently voluntary in nature; however, reserves are compensated for covering any temporary shift openings. Reserve officers receive preferential selection toward obtaining their full-time police certification if an opening becomes available within the department. |
