Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or have a GED
- U.S. Citizen
- 21 - 45 years of age or already on the Oklahoma Police Officer Pension
- Must certify that she / he is physically able to fully participate in and complete all phases of the CLEET Basic Peace Officer Certificalion Academy as mandated in CLEET rules
- Must pass a health examination, psychological evaluation, and drug screen
- Must pass a written general knowledge exam
- Must pass background investigation
- Must be willing and able to work mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- No felony convictions
- No convictions for domestic assault
- No convictions for a crime of moral turpitude, DWI, or DUI
- Must have a valid driver license
- Driving record free from serious or frequent violations
- Must have good moral character
Preferred Experience
Law enforcement experience, military experience, and / or college education preferred, but not required.
Pay & Benefits
- Starting salary $47,000
- Salary after probation $48,410
- Incentive, education, and longevity pay

- Tuition reimbursement $2,500.00 per year (subject to approval)
