Job Description
As a police officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining law and order within our community. Your responsibilities will include patrolling designated areas, responding to emergency calls, conducting investigations, enforcing local laws, and most importantly, serving the great community of Chelsea. This position offers a dynamic work environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact.
Requirements
· Minimum age of 21 years and U.S. Citizen
· High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or training preferred)
· Certified Preferred, if not certified, will need to obtain certification within 6 months of date of hire
· Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and good driving record
· Excellent physical condition
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· Ability to pass a thorough background investigation
· Must have OR be able to take and pass MMPI
· Must have OR be able to take and pass the Posse Exam.
· No felony convictions
· No domestic violence record
· Good moral character
