Full Time Police Officer
Officers generally work three (3) 12-hour shifts, and one (1) 4-hour shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The City of Checotah is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Police Officer. CLEET certification is preferred, but not required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Candidates should meet Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement Standards.
- Candidates must be 21 years of age, be a US citizen, and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and high school diploma or GED.
- Candidate should possess good moral character and a strong desire to serve the citizens of Checotah.
- Candidate shall have no Felony, Domestic Violence, Serious Misdemeanor, or Crimes involving Moral Turpitude convictions.
