| Minimum Requirements |
| -Must be at least 21 years of age -United States citizen -High school diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred -CLEET-certified Peace Officer or able to obtain certification -Valid Oklahoma driver’s license with a clean driving record -Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and medical/psychological evaluation -No felony convictions or domestic violence–related offenses -Strong communication skills and ability to work with the public -Willingness to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays |
| Key Responsibilities |
| -Patrol assigned areas to deter and respond to criminal activity -Enforce state and local laws while providing professional public service -Conduct traffic stops, accident investigations, and initial crime scene response -Prepare accurate reports and testify in court as needed -Assist during emergencies and support other law enforcement agencies -Use sound judgment, follow department policies, and operate all equipment safely and professionally. -Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate honesty and integrity. |
