Description
A Judicial Services deputy is required to read and comprehend all types of legal documents. Examples of such documents are summons, evictions, child pick-up orders, and personal property replevins. All documents must be executed and returned, as defined by Oklahoma State Law, in a timely manner. Additionally, deputies must show the ability to communicate effectively with all citizens and be able to occasionally speak in a public forum in order to conduct court ordered property sales.
This position also requires the ability to conduct traffic stops, assist other LE agencies in emergency situations and occasionally assist in the transport of prisoners from various locations throughout the state – with a rare potential to assist the extradition deputies with travel out of state.
Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years field experience preferred.
Education Required
High school diploma or GED. Must be full-time CLEET certified in the state of Oklahoma.
